Exercise: Combining the matras with Consonants

Now try to combine the rest of consonants with 
matras. Remember there are thirty six consonants.
This exercise can be very helpful to those are 
learning to read and write Hindi!

 
A vowel is pronounced alone but a vowel sign (Matra) is pronounced together with a consonant. Each vowel is represented by its sign (matra)
